I am a B737NG Line Training Captain (LTC), Line Check Captain (LCC) and Type Rating Instructor (TRI). Based in Europe, I train Captains and First Officers to fly the Boeing 737-800 for a major European airline frequently operating into non-precision and performance-limited airports. In addition to training and checking airline pilots I have also conducted Zero Flight Time Training (ZFTT) for ab initio Cadet Pilots and Recurrent Simulator Training (RST) for Line Crews in EASA Level D certified Flight Simulation Training Devices (FTSD). I also have experience in Ground School training including classroom teaching of aircraft systems, operating procedures, performance and mass and balance, as well as practical flight crew fire training in a cabin smoke and fire trainer.
I develop software applications for use in both aviation and non-aviation environments. Past projects have included business sectors as diverse as online real-time multiplayer gaming systems, web-based literacy teaching, airline fuel-uplift planning and tankering management, mass and balance calculation and language teaching and pronounciation software. I have experience in stand-alone desktop and web-based applications as well as mobile apps for deployment on phones, tablets and other hand-held devices. I am currently developing algorithmic forex trading software.
I operate in a highly-regulated safety-critical work environment. I have proven leadership and management skills with practical experience in all aspects of software design and development.
